    • Northern Region (Corozal, Orange Walk): The driest part of the country, receiving roughly 40–60 inches of rain per year. It is generally hot, with high temperatures in the mid-90s \(\text{F}\) in the summer. Average Highs 88º, Average Lows 70º
    • Coastal Region and Cayes (Ambergris Caye, Caye Caulker, Belize City): Enjoy consistent sea breezes that make hot days pleasant, with temperatures often in the 70s-80s during the dry season. Rainfall is moderate, about 75 inches a year in Belize City. Average Highs 85º, Average Lows 74º
    • Western Region (Cayo District): Features a distinct climate due to higher elevations and inland location.   • Dry Season (February–May): The best time to visit, with the driest months being February and March. Temperatures peak in April and May.
  • Wet Season (June–November): Characterized by high humidity and, often, heavy afternoon showers. A short, drier period sometimes occurs in late July or August, known as the "[little dry]".
  • Hurricane Season: Runs from July through November, with a higher risk of storms occurring from August to October.
  • "Northerly" Winds: Between September and December, northern winds can bring colder, drier air, offering a reprieve from the heat
